Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire
Located in Kuku Yalanji country on Cape York Peninsula's east coast the Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire was excised from the Shire of Douglas and consists of a single locality split into two disjoint areas separated by the Bloomfield Rive, which remains part of Shire of Douglas). The community is managed as a Deed of Grant in Trust under the Local Government (Community Government Areas) Act 2004.
