Kuku Nyungkal
The Kuku Nyungkal (or Annan River Tribe) are the traditional custodians of the mountain slopes, rainforests, streams, and waterfalls of the Upper Annan River, south of Cooktown.
Norman Tindale identified their country as extending from the Annan River, south to Rossville and west as far as the Annan-Normanby Divide.Lore
