Muluridji
Before European settlement, the Muluridji sub-group of the Kuku Yalanji people maintained a hunter-gatherer existence across approximately 2800 square kilometres of country from the headwaters of the Mitchell River north to Mount Carbine, east to Rumula and south to around Mareeba. The majority lived between Biboohra and Mount Molloy.
Their western limit was the drier country west of the rainforest margin between Biboohra and Mount Molloy.
