Yuwibara
The AIATSIS Map of Indigenous Australia places the Yuwi people (alternatively, Juipera, Yuwibara, Yuibera) on Queensland's east coast around Mackay, with (working clockwise) the Giya to their north, the Biri to the west, and the Baradha and Guwinmal to their south.
They appear in Norman Tindale's classification as the Juipera, occupying roughly 2,800 square kilometres of country from St. Helens south to Cape Palmerston, including the Pioneer Valley, extending inland as far as the Connors Range.
