William Edward Parry-Okeden
Public servant, Police Commissioner, and Protector of Aborigines William Edward Parry-Okeden (1841 – 1926) was born at his father's station, Maranumbela, on the Snowy River in New South Wales' Monaro District. He joined his father in Queensland's Burnett District in 1861.
