Barcaldine Region
Established in 2008, following the Queensland Government's amalgamation of the former Shires of Barcaldine, Aramac and Jericho, the 53,383 square kilometre Barcaldine Region lies in Iningai and Yirandali Country. It incorporates the former Barcaldine, Aramac, Kargoolnah and Bauhinia divisions, which date back to 1879.
