Taroom

Located on the Dawson River and the Leichhardt Highway, 380 kilometres north-west of Brisbane, 292 kilometres west of Maryborough, 261 kilometres south-southwest of Rockhampton and 302 kilometres from Toowoomba, Taroom takes its name from the Waka Waka tarum: wild lime tree.
