Flinders Islands



Located 350 kilometres north-northwest of Cairns in Bathurst Bay towards the eastern side of Princess Charlotte Bay, west of Cape Melville and north of Bathurst Head, the seven islands in the Flinders Group lie within Flinders Group National Park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal Land). The national park was previously Flinders Group National Park until it was renamed on 28 November 2013.

To protect cultural assets, access to Clack Island (Ngurromo) is prohibited.
