Boulia Shire
Located in Bularnu and Warluwarra country, the Shire of Boulia covers 60,906 square kilometres in western Queensland, with Mount Isa City and the Cloncurry Shire as its northern neighbours, Winton Shire to the east, Diamantina Shire to the south and the Northern Territory border as its western boundary. The shire has existed as a local government entity since the Boulia Division was established on 24 September 1887.. Its main industry is beef production.
