- (south of Townsville) Alligator Creek rises in the Muntalunga Range (Mount Elliot) and flows into Cleveland Bay, passing by the site of the boiling down works operated by the Queensland Meat Export Company, the North Queensland Meat Export Company's meatworks, and the former Alligator Creek railway station.
