Connors River
Augustus Gregory named the Connors River, which is formed by the confluence of Collaroy Creek and Whelan Creek, east of Lotus Creek, after pastoralist Daniel Conner during his 1856 expedition from the Victoria River in the Northern Territory to Moreton Bay. The river rises in the Great Dividing Range east of Lotus Creek and flows .generally south-southwest for about three hundred kilometres, forming a series of braided channels and eventually discharging into the Isaac River
