Family Islands National Park
The Family Islands National Park covers a group of continental islands in Biyaygiri and Djiru Country — the family (two parents and five children) along with five smaller islands — lying off the North Queensland coast, between Mission Beach and Goold Island. Most of Dunk Island and the majority of the smaller islands are part of the national park. Dunk Island Resort, the farm and former artists' colony are freehold land, along with Thorpe Island (Timana) and Richards (Bedarra), which are privately-owned. Woln-Garin Island is unallocated State land.
