Alligator Creek
Alligator Creek may refer to one of several Northern locations:
- (south of Mackay) The Bruce Highway crosses Alligator Creek, which discharges into the Coral Sea just north of the Hay Point bulk coal terminal, 19 kilometres south of Mackay and 12 kilometres north of Sarina.
- (south of Townsville) Alligator Creek rises in the Muntalunga Range (Mount Elliot) and flows into Cleveland Bay, passing by the site of the boiling down works operated by the Queensland Meat Export Company, the North Queensland Meat Export Company's meatworks site at Oolbun, and the former Alligator Creek railway station. The stream gives its name to the rural/residential locality within Townsville City's boundaries.
