Warrego Highway

The 715-kilometre Warrego Highway connects coastal centres to Queensland’s southwest. Its name comes from its endpoint, the Warrego River.

Starting at the end of the M2 Ipswich Motorway, the highway crosses the Great Dividing Range via the Toowoomba Bypass. It then traverses the Darling Downs and Maranoa Region before reaching its terminus in Charleville.

From east to west, the highway passes through or near these cities and major towns:
