South East Queensland
Occupying the state's southeast corner, South East Queensland includes Queensland's three largest cities — Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast among eleven local government areas, extending from the Shire of Noosa in the north to the Queensland/New South Wales border and from the coast to the Great Dividing Range, with the Toowoomba Region's urban portion simultaneously considered part of the Darling Downs Region.
