Torrens Creek
Located on the Flinders Highway 85 kilometres east of Hughenden, 151 kilometrtes southwest of Charters Towers and 436 kilometres west of Mackay on Yirandali country in the Flinders Shire, Torrens Creek takes its name from the stream William Landsborough named after Sir Robert Richard Torrens in 1862 while searching for the Burke and Wills expedition.
