Blencoe Falls

Located in Warungu Country within the Girringun National Park, 51 kilometres west of Cardwell, 70 kilometres south of Ravenshoe and 77 kilometres southeast of Mount Garnet, the segmented Blencoe Falls plunge 90 metres to the pool below, and then cascade a further 230 metres to the bottom of Blencoe Gorge, around 2 kilometres from where Blencoe Creek joins the Herbert River.

The falls were reputedly named after early pastoralist R. A. Blencoe, and can be reached by an unsealed road from Mount Garnet and from Kennedy on the Bruce Highway. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended.
