Barna
The AIATSIS Map of Indigenous Australia places the Barna (alternatively Baranha, Parnabal or Barada Barna) around Moranbah, with the Biri to their north, the Baradha to their east, the Gabalbara to their south, the Yambina and Wangan to their west and the Yangga to their northwest.
Norman Tindale's Aboriginal Tribes of Australia suggests they occupied about 8,300 square kilometres around the Isaac River's headwaters, extending west to the Denham Range and south to Cotherstone. They are believed to have spoken one of the Biri dialects.
