Koorboora




Located on Mbarbaram country around 12 kilometres west-southwest of Petford, 16 kilometres east-southeast of Almaden, 77 kilometres southwest of Mareeba and 125 kilometres west-northwest of Innisfail, the Koorboora mineral field was Australia’s largest source of tungsten when it produced 20 tonnes per month in the early 1900s.
