Kirrama National Park

Located in Djirbalngan Country within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, approximately 40 kilometres northwest of Cardwell, 60 kilometres south-southeast of Ravenshoe, and 80 kilometres southeast of Mount Garnet, Kirrama National Park's rugged landscapes, lush tropical rainforest, and open eucalypt forests lie within the upper reaches of the Burdekin and Herbert River catchments.

While the park can be accessed from the coast via Kirrama Range Road — turn off the Bruce Highway onto Kennedy Creek Road at Kennedy (9.66km northwest of Cardwell — the park's only visitor facility is a walking track at Society Flats, the former centre of a logging industry.

Access from inland via Mount Garnet and Blencoe Falls is possible; however, the route should only be attempted in dry conditions, and four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended.
