Wulpura
Norman Tindale's Aboriginal Tribes of Australia places the Wulpura (alternatively, Kokowaldja (language name), Wolpa (toponym: range west of Mount Romeo), Wulpurara, Wulbur-ara, Walpoll, Wulurara, Woora (toponym for a site on the South Mossman River), Kokowaldja, Koko-baldja (language name), Waldja) on around 2,300 square kilometres of territory on the main range west of Mount Romeo and Boolbun and the high Mount Windsor tableland at the head of Daintree River. Tindale notes that they were rainforest dwellers, relatively slight (152 cm) in stature and weighing about 100 pounds — his metric equivalent (220 kilograms) is an apparent miscalculation; 55 would be closer to the mark.
Their annual peregrinations took them from South Mossman to Julatten, Mount Carbine, McLeod River, down the Daintree River and back to South Mossman.
Although there does not appear to be any data available, their language (Kuku Waldja) has been listed as a dialect of Kuku Yalanji. In any case, the AIATSIS Map of Indigenous Australia has their territory in Kuku=yalanji coluntry.
